Tower D is a 382,000 square foot, 30-storey office tower that won’t be forgotten by the different teams that have been involved in its construction. Beauce Atlas had the opportunity to demonstrate its expertise and know-how in conditions that demanded efficiency and professionalism: fast-paced, ongoing construction over two shifts, alternating use of two tower cranes that required major coordination, unusual manufacturing techniques to cut the main columns to create the tower’s “D” shape, and road and rail transportation from East to West for over 4,200 tons of steel. But it was worth it—the final result is simply breathtaking!
