Welder
Beauce Atlas, a leading fabricator in structural steel, is currently seeking a welder. This is a permanent, full-time job. The welder welds parts in accordance with manufacturing instructions, finishing grades, welding procedures, and tolerances.

Specific duties
- Review manufacturing priorities posted at designated locations
- Inform the foreman as soon as possible of any existing or potential manufacturing constraints
- Transport certain parts to workstations using the overhead bridge crane
- Read the welding symbols on the part
- Perform joint welds or repair deficiencies that occurred during submerged arc welding
- Visually approve welding conformity
- Ensure that welded parts are ultrasonically tested
- Perform other related tasks
Desired profile
- Possess welding tickets
- DEP in welding or recognized equivalent training
- Ability to quickly and easily interpret welding symbols
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and meticulousness
- Ability to read shop drawings (an asset)
