Regular tasks
- Find out from your supervisor about the activities planned for the department
- Become familiar with manufacturing priorities by referring to drawings, memos, cutting slips or other
- Sort contracts by priority
- Measure the parts so that they correspond to the shop drawing
- Plan with the welders the location of the parts
- Coordinate with the assemblers the best sequence of parts to bring according to the complexity and the assembly time
- Using the conveyor and overhead crane, transfer parts between the departments (assembly, welding and material exit) of the factory
- Identify the part debited by the contract number and the part number
- Ensure that all project drawings have been distributed
- Classify the parts in inventory and control it
- Report non-conformities related to the raw material
