Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the incumbent coordinates all production activities on the production floor. He supervises the production workforce. He makes sure to meet the quality objectives of the organization. He plans and coordinates production work to meet the organization’s performance objectives. He ensures the safety of operations and enforces all of the organization’s OHS policies.

  • Supervise, coordinate and organize the work of workers who shape, form, assemble and mount, to the prescribed dimensions, parts or metal products;
  • Establish working methods to meet execution schedules and coordinate work with other departments;
  • Participate in daily, weekly or monthly meetings related to production and plant operations (production, planning, plant management committee, etc.);
  • Requires the necessary materials and supplies such as consumables, small tools, etc.;
  • Solve work-related problems and recommend measures to increase productivity;
  • Train new employees on safe work methods;
  • Participate in the factory’s occupational health and safety committee;
  • Welcome and participate in the integration of new employees;
  • Evaluate and ensure the development of employee skills;
  • Recommend personnel management measures (e.g. hiring);
  • Ensure compliance with work safety standards;
  • Write production reports or other reports;
  • Work closely with the production manager;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
  • Ensure that employees work in a safe manner, that they respect the established dress code and wear mandatory protective equipment;
  • Report any dangerous situation or potential contamination;
  • Write work accident reports and participate in investigations as needed;
  • Perform other related duties.

  • 5 years of relevant experience


  • Beginner level spoken and written English.
  • Excellent blueprint reading


  • Easy to communicate.
  • Ability to adapt and manage change.
